"The Cattlewomen's mission is to promote and educate people about beef and nutrition." The MSU Collegiate Cattlewomen's Association organizes a forum every year. They choose a topic each year that is relevant to the cattle ranching industry. Topics from past forums have been BSE, E-coli, genetically modified organisms, hormone additives and the use of animal by-products in feed. The forum is a major component of the MSU Cattlewomen's plan to educate the public.
