Research Interests

  • Forage crop production.
  • Management and harvest strategies for pasture and hay crops.
  • Emphasis is on optimizing production of protein and digestible nutrients per acre of Montana's forage crops.
  • Current investigations include forage quality and persistence of Montana perennial forages, and annual forages for crop rotation.
