  • Quivira Coalition’s New Agrarian Program (NAP) applications for 2025 apprenticeships are open NOVEMBER 1- DECEMBER 15 or once all positions are filled. Apprenticeships take place on working ranches and farms practicing regenerative agriculture across the Intermountain West.See participating sites here.These 8-month, full-time, paid apprenticeships include housing and will allow apprentices to be fully immersed in the work of an operation. Support from the program includes an education stipend, supplemental education Zoom calls, 1:1 check-ins with a coordinator, and networking opportunities to kick-start a career in regenerative ag.   • The Double J Ranch in Daniel, Wyoming has paid internship opportunities that encompass Ranch
    Management, Custom Grazing, Wildlife Conservation and Preservation, Regenerative Cattle Grazing, Low stress management, Cattle Genetics, Horsemanship, and Land Stewardship. These internships help students to obtain and practice a working knowledge of the cattle industry and the agriculture community though hands-on, day-to-day experience. Hands-on experiences/duties include:
• Registered Wagyu Genetics
• Cell Grazing
• Range Land Ecology and Rotation

• Ranch Management Practices
• Ranch Maintenance
Requirements:
• Ability and willingness to work up to 60-hour work weeks,
that often include weekends.
• Experience with horses, cattle or domestic livestock.
• Experience ranch/farm operations, including both small
and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to learn and ability to be part of a ranch team.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license
Benefits:
• Internship runs from June 1st - August 22 (dates can be
flexible to accomodate college schedule).
• Housing, internet, pasture for 1 horse and all the ground
beef you can eat provided.
• Compensation based on experience.

  • Beef Northwest Internship Program

    We believe in investing in the education of future cattlemen and women who want to be the next industry leaders. We offer internships in feedyard operations, business administration, risk management, information technology, and pasture management. Our paid internship program offers students an opportunity for a $5,000 scholarship upon completing the internship and intern project.  

  • Talon Youth Internship Program
    The Angus/Talon Youth Educational Learning Program Internship is a valuable learning experience for both interns and host ranches. Through this program, interns get the chance to gain more knowledge of the beef industry encouraging them to join the industry in the future. Angus breeders host and mentor an intern who learns the ropes of their beef cattle operation. 
  • Sitz Angus Ranch Internships
    Sitz Angus is pleased to host several interns each year. All internships require a willingness to work hard and work well with the crew.  Long-term ranch interest is preferred. 
  • Nebraska Sandhills Internship Program
    Interns will receive hands-on ranching and ranch management training. The work experience gained is invaluable, as is the opportunity to apply acquired knowledge of real work experiences and witness firsthand the day-to-day job duties you can expect on a ranch. In addition, transferrable skills such as communication and teamwork are obtained.
